THE CALL OF OUR NEXT PASTOR

May 20, 2012 will be a very special day in the history of Christ Lutheran Church. There will be one service at 10:00 am at which the Rev. Susan E. Tjornehoj (a Danish name pronounced “churn-a-hoy”) will preach. Immediately after the service there will be a special meeting of the congregation to extend a call to her to become the seventh pastor of Christ Church in its 125 year history. THERE WILL BE NO SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL THAT DAY. Children are encouraged to attend that service with their parents. There will be a fully staffed nursery for infants and toddlers. Following the congregational meeting there will be a reception flowing from the coffee hour room into the church parlor and parish building foyer. Come be part of this historic day in the life of Christ Church.
